🐬 Itinerary for Best of Costa Rica & Marine Lover’s Packages

Day 1 – Arrival in San José

Arrive in San José, Costa Rica. Overnight at our recommended hotel, featuring an in-house restaurant, gym, and swimming pool for a comfortable start to your adventure.

Day 2 – Travel to Drake Bay

Take a short domestic flight directly to Drake Bay, followed by a pre-arranged taxi to your hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing or enjoying optional activities such as snorkeling, horseback riding, canopy tours, or hiking. (Note: Day 2 tours must be reserved in advance.)

Day 3 – Dolphin & Whale Encounter

Set out at 8:00 am on a Dolphin & Whale Watching Tour guided by Sierra, founder of The Divine Dolphin and Vida Marina, with over 24 years of guiding experience. Return between 1:00–2:00 pm, depending on sightings. A delicious lunch is served on board.

Day 4 – Corcovado National Park

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day guided adventure into Corcovado National Park, described by National Geographic as “the most biologically intense place on Earth.”

  • Home to 400 bird species, 140 mammals, 116 amphibians & reptiles, 500 tree species, and 6,000 insects.

  • Protects endangered wildlife such as jaguars, pumas, scarlet macaws, tapirs, crocodiles, golden frogs, and even the rare harpy eagle.
    Your experienced naturalist guide will help you spot and understand this incredible biodiversity. Lunch is served at the Ranger Station before returning to your hotel for dinner and storytelling.

Day 5 – Dolphin & Whale Encounter

Another day on the ocean with dolphins and whales, just like Day 3. Every tour is unique, so no two encounters are the same!

Day 6 – Free Day in Drake Bay

Enjoy a day at leisure—hike the rainforest, kayak the coastline, horseback ride, visit Caño Island for snorkeling, or soar through the canopy. Or simply relax in a hammock by the sea. (Note: these activities are not included in the package; costs vary.)

Day 7 – Package-Specific

  • Best of Costa Rica Package: Return flight to San José.

  • Marine Lover’s Package: Dolphin & Whale Tour.

Day 8 – Marine Lover’s Package

Return flight to San José.

    📌 Package Cancellation Policy

    We understand that sometimes plans change. Please review our cancellation policy carefully before booking:

    ✈️ More than 90 days prior to arrival

    • Deposits are non-refundable.

    • However, if we receive written notice 90+ days before arrival, your deposit (minus a $50 service fee per person) may be credited toward the same trip, if rescheduled and taken within 12 months from the date of cancellation notice.

    🗓️ Less than 90 days prior to arrival

    • Cancellations received less than 90 days before arrival will forfeit all payments.

    • No-shows will not receive any refund.

    • No partial refunds or credits are issued for unused room reservations, services, or tours due to circumstances beyond our control (such as weather, illness, mechanical failure, or change of mind).

      • Example: If you reserve 7 nights but stay only 6, the full 7 nights will still be charged.

    ✅ Important

    We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.
